The Broadbent 'Button Factory'

The Mill in Broadbent was built by Henry and Edward Broadbent in 1902. By 1911 they had established the Broadbent Wood Turning Company Ltd. They primarily produced buttons and wooden utensils, leading the locals to refer to the establishment as the 'Button Factory.'
